Woodhaven Business Improvement District Officials

The Woodhaven Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 1993 by local property owners, business leaders, and community stakeholders. Its mission is to support, enhance, and promote the continued growth and vitality of Woodhaven’s Jamaica Avenue commercial corridor well into the future.

The Woodhaven BID is a New York State-registered not-for-profit corporation. Its Board of Directors is composed of dedicated neighborhood stakeholders—including property owners, commercial tenants, residents, and public officials—who volunteer their time to guide the organization. The Board meets quarterly to establish priorities and approve the annual budget.

Property owners, commercial tenants, and residents within the BID boundaries are eligible to register to vote at the annual meeting. Registered members may run for the Board of Directors and vote in Board elections at the annual meeting. To learn more about the annual meeting and how to register as a member, please visit our Annual Meeting page.
